The Day of Pentecost
Be filled by the Holy Spirit!
Welcome family!
Today is a day we should look at and thank God He has brought us where us desires us to be, for in that journey we all should grow closer to Him. We want to thank everyone for coming Saturday night and sharing in worship, fellowship and a meal with us. It is a wonderful thing to be equipped within the church to go out and proclaim the Gospel with boldness. That's what began on the day of Pentecost, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit for all who believe and the Gospel going out to change the world forever! We had our associate Pastor Jaime come and share a great message with us on Saturday from Acts 2:1-4, taking us through those beginning moments when the Apostles began to proclaim the Gospel to thousands of people as the Holy Spirit descended from Heaven to indwell mankind. We get to see through the scriptures so many beautiful moments in History to guide us, and how the Lord is still to this very day doing the same, indwelling someone as they come to belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. We invite you to watch, share and go out and proclaim for today is the day of salvation and now is the acceptable hour! Don't forget to check everything through the lens of the scriptures for by them we will know the truth and we are called to test the spirits to see if they are of God. The events of Acts 2:1-4 marked a pivotal moment in the early Church. The Holy Spirit empowered the disciples to boldly proclaim the gospel, bridging language barriers and igniting a movement that would change the world. Pentecost reminds us of God’s promise to equip and guide us as we share His love with others. May we, too, seek the infilling of the Holy Spirit, allowing His fire to ignite our hearts and empower our witness.
