The Lord's Supper
Greetings brothers and sisters,
This past Saturday was a time we in all Christendom cherish, the Lord's Supper. It is a wonderful time when we can all come together and share in the elements, remembering what Christ has done for us. Our Lord has given his body for us, that we can be joined in one body, His. He also shed His own blood for us, to establish an everlasting covenant with us. We are bought and paid for by a price so high, nothing in all creation could hope to buy us back. Praise God for the sacrifice He made.
Pastor Scott faithfully preaches on what the Apostle Paul meant in his instruction to the church in Corinth, and we are still working on our progress in providing video each week. As always, when we meet, it's always more than just a meal, more than just a sermon, more than just a place to go on Saturday nights. This is a body of believers that care for one another, and we fellowship in the living Word all together.
