About Us

Recovery begins at the foot of the Cross...

Our Statement of Faith

  • The Bible

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy... all Scripture is a testimony to Christ who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.

    (2 Tim. 3:16-17;  2 Pet. 1:20-21; Isa. 55:11; Ps. 119:105; Ps. 19:7; Eph. 6:17; John 17:17; Luke 24:25)

  • God

There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness, . . .all powerful, . . .all knowing, . . . of all things past, present and future. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence or being.

    (Isa 45:5; Duet 6:4; I Cor 8:4; Jer 9:23-24; Jn 4:24; Job 37:16; Gen 1:1; Isa 57:15)

  • Jesus - God the Son

    Jesus - God the Son

Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God, taking upon Himself human nature. . . In His substitution death on the cross He made provision for the redemption of men from sin. He was raised from the dead, . . .appeared to His disciples, . . . ascended into heaven. . .sits at the right hand of God. . .One Mediator between God and man.

    (John 1:3,14,29, 10:11, 17:5; Lk. 2:11; Phil. 2:7;Isa 61:1,2; Heb 4:15-16; Matt 16:16,21; Heb. 9)

  • Holy Spirit

    Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He convicts men of sin, . . . calls men to the Savior, . . . and baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ . . . bestows Spiritual gifts to believers by which they serve God through His church.

    (John 14:16-17; 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; Rom. 5:5; ICor. 2:12, 3:16; 2Cor 3:17; Gal 5:25; Eph. 1:13, 4:30, 5:18)

  • Man

    Man

Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. Endowed by his Creator with freedom of choice. . .man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. . .and fell from his original innocence.

    (Gen 1:27; Psm. 8:36; Isa 53:6, 59:1-2; Rom 3:23)

  • Salvation

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. . .There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. . .Salvation is the great theme of the Bible. . .revealing the truth that God saves sinners.

    (John 1:12, 3:16, 14:6; Rom 5:1, 6:23; Gal 3:26; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5)

  • Church

A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated . . .in the faith and fellowship of the gospel; . . .observing the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. exercising the gifts of the Spirit for edification, teaching and service within the body. Endeavoring to make disciples for the purpose of fulfilling the great commission. In a larger sense the church is the Body of Christ which includes all the redeemed of all the ages, believers from Every tribe, and tongue, and people and nation.

    (Col 1:18; I Cor. 3:11, 12:12-27; Rom 12:4-8; Eph. 1:20-23; Matt 28:19-20)

  • Baptism and the Lord's Supper

  • Eternity

People will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or exist eternally through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is eternal death in Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

    (John 3:16, 14:17; Rom 6:23; 8:17-18; I Cor. 2:7-9; Rev. 20:15)

  • The End Times

There will be a literal return of Christ and a judgment day.  There will also be a literal catching up of the saints.  Scripture teaches that we do not know the day or the hour that these events will take place, it does however teach that these are real events that will certainly be fulfilled.

    (Matt 12:36; John 5:22;  16:8;2Cor 5:10; I Thess. 4:16-17; 2 Pet 3:7; Jude 6)

  • Stewardship

Since God is the source of all blessings, temporal and spiritual; all we have and are we owe to Him. Christians have an . . .obligation to serve Him with their time, talents, and material possessions. . . We practice tithing to support the church, the body of Christ, as God’s Word commands. We recognize that the tithe is the biblical standard of giving 10% to the local church love offerings over and above the tithe are an offering of gratitude to the Lord for all the many blessings He has bestowed upon us.

    (Lev 27:30; Malachi 3:7-12; Matt 23:23)

Statement of Faith

Our Calling

Every member of our Church has come with a calling. To bring love and faith, to heal and to listen, to find meaning in the world and to help discover meaning in this gift of life. Our calling is reaching the lost. We love, because God loved us first.
